About Us

Kansas City Flavor, Served Daily

We got our start in the industrial East Bottoms of Kansas City back in February 2012. With the support of KC locals, our story has grown step by step.

  • From a one-room butcher shop hosting Sunday classes
  • To a stationary food truck called Pigwich
  • To outgrowing our original space
  • To moving just across the railroad tracks to the historic City Market in January 2019

This place is awesome with the variety of sandwiches they put together and the uniqueness of all the flavors combined. Been a fan for a very long time and glad to see they they are now in the heart of the City Market. Definitely worth coming in and sinking your teeth into this menu!!

Walking by and we saw all the amazing food people were eating and we stopped in. Tried the pulled pork Pigwich and the Cornflake Chicken Sandwich with bacon. My tastebuds exploded with happiness and I devoured every last bite! I love this place!!

Excellent sandwich shop and butcher (Local Pig). The quality of their products really come through in the taste. Everything is prepared very well, but also fairly quickly. There’s a patio that wraps from the side to the back. They use environmentally friendly serving products.

Delicious! I had the Jalepeno Popper sandwich with sweet potato fries, and my wife had the BYO Burger with chips. The chips and fries were cooked perfectly, and tasted great dipping in the aioli and ranch dressings. The buns often make the sandwich, and this was no exception, but the meats were also well prepared and tasty. Glad we finally made the trip! Also stopped next door at Local Pig and bought a few items to take home.

We visited on a Monday with four adults and 8 kids. We had an awesome day exploring KC on the Street Car. We live about 40 minutes away and joked we’d need to make the drive again to get their Cheese Steak sandwich ASAP. Everything we had was tasty; sandwiches, fries and sauces. Definitely a great KC spot worth a try!

Great sandwich shop next to great butcher shop. I highly recommend this place. I have liked everything I’ve gotten there and the fries have gotten better. Everything is recyclable so very environmentally friendly. I got the Philly cheesesteak and fries and they were very tasty.

We ate lunch here yesterday while visiting the market. The weather was perfect so we sat outside with our small dog in her stroller. Food was delicious! We weren’t expecting the sandwiches to be as large as they were so we were very well fed. Would definitely eat here again!
